For travel companies, hotels and groups
We run day activities in and around Paramaribo for Dutch travel companies and local hotels, on a net rate or commission basis, in groups of at most eight per guide, in Dutch, English or Sranan Tongo.
Anyone selling a Suriname touring holiday usually has a couple of Paramaribo days in the programme with little in them. That is exactly the gap we fit: we do not sell multi-day tours and do not want to, so we are not in each other’s way anywhere.
The same goes for hotels in Paramaribo. Guests ask the front desk what they can do today, and a fixed partner with known prices and a WhatsApp number that answers beats a rack of leaflets.
Practically: we work on a net rate or a fixed commission, whichever suits you. Monthly invoicing. One point of contact, no booking system to click through. We confirm availability within 24 hours.
Groups above eight are split across two guides. We will not put them on a bus, because that removes the thing people came for.

Do you work with Dutch travel companies?
Yes, gladly. We do not sell multi-day rondreizen, so we are not a competitor: we fill the Paramaribo days that tend to stay empty in a touring programme. Net rates and availability on request via hallo@switi-tours.com.
Can hotels in Paramaribo book tours for guests?
Yes. We work on a fixed commission or a net rate, whichever the front desk prefers. Guests are collected from and returned to the hotel.
Do you offer tours in English for international groups?
Yes, every tour runs in Dutch, English or Sranan Tongo. For groups above eight we split across two guides rather than merging into one large group.
