A working-day programme in Paramaribo for companies, delegations and newly arrived staff

This segment is genuinely underserved in Paramaribo. People here for work arrive without a local network, work in English, and come back more often than an ordinary tourist does. Yet no operator in the city publishes a corporate offer at all. We do, with the caveat that belongs with it: we are a day-tour company, not an events agency.

The day itself is an ordinary working day, made properly. The morning is the historic centre on foot, Fort Zeelandia, the Waterkant and Onafhankelijkheidsplein, with the history told rather than skirted. Then a sit-down Surinamese lunch long enough to actually talk, because on a team day or a client visit that conversation is the real point. The afternoon is your choice: the Commewijne plantations, the old plantation tracks and sloths of Peperpot, or a city and food route through the neighbourhoods.

For newly arrived staff we invert the afternoon. It stops being about 1667 and becomes the practical city: which supermarkets, where the cash machines are that take foreign cards, how the cambios work, how ordering in a warung or a rotishop actually goes, and which neighbourhood is which. After one day the guessing stops, and that saves a new arrival weeks.

There is no price on this page, deliberately. A group of 3 and a group of 12 are different days, one day is not three afternoons, and picking up at one hotel is not picking up at four. Instead of a day rate that grows along the way, you get one fixed total for the whole group within two working days, with the route written out.
