Monday to Saturday the Central Market runs, with the Vreedzaammarkt beside it. On Sundays it closes and the Sunday markets take over: two Chinese markets, the Javanese Saoenah market, orchids at De Tuin and more. Nearly everything is a morning market: come before 10:00.

Early. The Central Market is at its best between 7:00 and 11:00, and the Sunday markets empty out around 10:00. Arrive at noon and you mostly watch stalls packing up.
