Three days in Paramaribo: city, river and food
Three days is enough for the historic centre, the Commewijne plantations and a food tour, in that order. The tours in this plan come to €155 per person.
Three days is the commonest length for a city visit to Paramaribo, and it is exactly enough to see the city, the river and the kitchen as separate things.
The order is not arbitrary. You start with the history, because after that you understand why the plantations sit where they sit, and only then does the food make sense.
